Software Engineer – Web, Desktop and Mobile Device Applications

Prolancer Pty Ltd, an ICT product and application engineering company, has a permanent opportunity for a motivated, skilled and professional Software Engineer who has experience with business and telephony technologies to join the growing Prolancer team and work in all parts of the SDLC on engineering innovative web, desktop and mobile device applications.
You need a “can-do” attitude and passion for engineering web, desktop and mobile device applications using Java, VoIP and mobile technologies in order to be a successful applicant for this opportunity. Further, you will need to demonstrate the following during the interview process:
- working knowledge of the SDLC and best engineering practices;
- strong OO analysis and design skills;
- system modelling skills with UML;
- experience with J2EE, JAIN and SIP application servers;
- experience with working on-site with clients;
- strong communication skills (oral and written); and
- understanding of engineering project dynamics.
