THANK YOU
We appreciate your business very much.

Total Recall Max
Total Recall Max is a line of professional telephone call recorders (or voice loggers) that offer combined VoIP, digital and analogue/radio call recording in a single unit. We developed this product for an Australian manufacturer who now sells it in over 65 countries around the world.
Please contact us for an obligation free discussion if you are looking for a reliable engineering partner with experience to take your product ideas from concept to products that you can sell.

The engineering endeavour was a combination of hardware and software design. It took 6-8 engineers almost 2.5 years to complete the effort from concept to a line of 6 products that are in production today.
The hardware engineering focused on:
- High-impedance tap card for T1/E1 links carrying ISDN calls. We were able to design a cost effective solution that is based on combination of generally available Zaptel (now Dahdi) cards and a custom T1/E1 link tap cards.
- High-impedance tap card for analogue telephone lines. We were able to come up with a solution that uses a high-speed USB interface to deliver voice and signalling information from up to 12 lines to a custom built Linux driver from a single card.
The software engineering effort was massive and focussed on:
- Custom Linux distribution.
- Four Java desktop GUI applications that run on Windows and allow users to access multiple recorder units at the same time for the purpose of configuration, recording control, live call monitoring, call recording management and re-play.
- A combination of Java and C++ server applications that run on Linux and perform various functions on the call recorder units; such as, call recording, recording and monitoring policies, archiving, automated audio storage management, recording meta-data database, unit configuration and unit control.
- Protocol stacks development including various flavours of ISDN PRI, H.323, SIP, SDP, RTP, CAS and others.
- Audio codec, secure file format and high-performance audio file system development.
- Audio processing such as multi-channel mixing, voice activity detection, gain control, and transcoding.
- Internationalisation support. We were able to come up with an internationalisation mechanism which enables the manufacturer to add support for another language to the product without development.
Some of the operational parameters of the final product are:
- Simultaneous recording of 120 ISDN + 120 VoIP + 96 analogue telephone conversations with single server.
- On board high performance audio storage for 60,000 audio hours and 350,000 individual conversations.
- Stable Linux platform, RAID disk configuration, hot-swap power supplies and built in self-management that enable perpetual and uninterrupted operation.
- Java RMI based API that enables full and secure access to all features of the recorder.
- On board and remote real-time call monitoring for up to 120 simultaneous sessions while recording calls at full capacity.
- On board and remote call replay for up to 120 simultaneous sessions while recording calls at full capacity.
- Multiple recording triggers: call signalling, phone hook state, voice detection (VoX), time of day and continuous.
- Export of call recordings in multiple file formats including popular formats such as MP3 and WAV.
